We partnered with R&S Productions and had such a good turnout—over 500 people showed up! We love our residents so they got in for a discounted price. One of the many  perks you get when you live with Rexburg Housing! The DJ was awesome and had everyone jumping and dancing while he threw out our NEW Rexburg Housing t-shirts and lanyards into the crowd! 

Off to the side we had a table set up where students could learn more about our properties and get great discounts if they signed a contract that night. We also offered  up some LifeSaver Mints so that the close proximity wasn’t a problem! Rexburg Housing is offering a variety of activities this semester so stay tuned for what might be happening at your property next!  Check out the pictures below of some of our amazing residents that came.

  • Video must be 4-6 minutes long
  • Purpose is to promote promotional for rexburghousing “cribs” style
  • Must include: Tour of the apartment, clubhouse and amenities on your property.
  • Must have atleast 3 other shared amenities that RH provides.
  • All music and content must be BYU-Idaho appropriate.
  • We expect all submitted videos to be edited and ready to upload to YouTube.

Here is how it will work. You will create a video showing off your apartment.   You can do it alone or include roommates, friends or whoever you would like to help you. The videos must be submitted to Rexburg Housing main office, located at 258 South 2nd West by March 9, 2012. The videos will be reviewed by the Rexburg Housing staff whom will select the top video submissions.   All videos will be uploaded to YouTube, and the top 3 video submissions will be posted to Facebook for final judging.  Make sure you “like” Rexburg Housing on facebook so you can vote for your favorite video!  Online judging will take place from   March 12th-March 15th.  The winner will be declared on March 16th.

Prizes:

  • Grand Prize= 1 Free Contract
  • 2nd Place= 1/2 priced contract
  • 3rd Place=Pizza party for participants of the apartment

The 1 Full and 1/2 priced contract is based on a single semester contract price at the RH property of your choice. If multiple residents are invovled in production of the video the amount may be divided among the partcipants toward their contract.

Autumn Winds and West Winds residents enjoyed a Resident appreciation night on Tuesday November 29th, 2011. All who attended were treated to delicious chili, donuts, and hot chocolate. A raffle also took place where residents received all sorts of fun RH gifts. The Michael Jackson movies that played during the event were said to be a big hit! Thanks to all who were able to come and make tuesday a success! :D

As the weather has turned colder we wanted to show our love for our residents and warm them up with a nice cup of hot chocolate and some delicious donut holes. The Brookside Manager Gwen hosted for the Brookside Village girls on Nov. 10th and the Rockland Manager Stephanie hosted for the Rockland boys on Nov. 15th! Residents who renewed with their managers that day were able to have their admin fee waived. Rexburg Housing is happy to warm you up body and soul and love it when our residents continue to stay with us. Residents who brought friends to sign a new contract got a referral bonus of $50 dollars!

All residents in attendance were treated to delicious carmel apples! Going Beyond Borders is a non-profit organization committed to provide ongoing relief efforts in Africa and is dedicated to educate, feed, and aid those who would die needlessly from preventable conditions. Current projects include Sustain Kenya, which will supply funds and materials to build a full-service hospital in addition to donating sheep and goats for poor smallholder women farms. Going Beyond Borders also collects items for the community such as computers for schools, clothing for women and children, soccer balls and team uniforms.
